Mainz/Brussels, May 7, 2013 – Wolters Kluwer Transport Services (WKTS) will be exhibiting at the “transport logistic” fair in Munich, Germany, from 4 until 7 June, to reveal the latest innovations of its product brands TAS-tms, Teleroute and Transwide to the world of logistics and supply chain management. A team of representatives from each brand will be available to organise live demos, discuss and answer questions from visitors, in an entertaining and relaxed atmosphere. Visitors will indeed have the chance to play exciting games and enter a competition on the stand (hall A5 stand 113/214).
FreightCentral: a new transport order management dashboard
WKTS will take the opportunity to launch and showcase its latest innovation: the new FreightCentral dashboard, THE central place for handling all aspects and functions of a transport order. FreightCentral is particularly targeted at smaller transport companies to help them manage and control their transport orders and so deliver a better service to their own customers.
A new commercial offer for Teleroute
Changes will be announced to the customers of the Teleroute freight exchange, among others a new flexible and predictable pricing offer available now in Germany, following France and the BeNeLux countries. Customers can choose between unlimited or all-inclusive pricing offers, accessible to multiple users of the same company, and at a fixed price for a better control of their budget. All Teleroute services (Route planner, Debt Mediation Service, etc.) are included in these packages.
New planning and optimization solution from Transwide
Transwide, the WKTS renowned brand for “on demand” transport management systems (TMS), will also showcase twOptimize, a new transport planning and optimization module. twOptimize allows both shippers and carriers to plan their shipments in the most cost-efficient way, providing them with rapid ROI. Transwide is the only “on-demand” TMS solution to offer this functionality.
Furthermore, Transwide will feature twSlot Partner Page, an online and real collaborative solution for appointment planning, and twCost, a module to manage carriers’ rates and contracts as well as additional transportation costs.
“WKTS already has a number of key logistics players using part or all of its integrated product brands: KN Road, Ziegler, DSV, Yusen, Heppner, DB Schenker, DHL, Norbert Dentressangle, Geodis, Lkw Walter, Rhenus, Dachser, CH Robinson... We are trusted as a real global provider of transport management solutions, and for all professionals in the transport and logistics sector: shippers, carriers, freight forwarders and logistics providers,” concluded Fabrice Maquignon, Managing Director of Wolters Kluwer Transport Services.
